We invite you to visit
For La Carrera Panamericana, the speed stage with the highest degree of difficulty for all competitors is undoubtedly El Espinazo del Diablo. Each stage passes between mountains and deep cut cut barracks. It is admirable the work that represented the construction of this road, that, in some sections, on one side there are slopes and on the other great precipices. Without a doubt, this is “the speed stage” with which the champion of La Carrera Panamericana 2018 will be crowned.
The Espinazo del Diablo has the cadence of Thousand Summits with very fast zones with several straights that end abruptly in very sinuous curves. A high level of technical knowledge is needed on the part of each pilot and co-driver to take their cars to the maximum power to get ahead of the longest and most demanding stage of La Carrera Panamericana with a total of 56 kms without stopping.
Finally, the contingent will go to the Arch of Final Goal located in the Historic Center of Durango passing through the El Baluarte Bridge, architectural jewel of our times to be named the tallest cable-stayed bridge in the world until 2016, for which it received the recognition Guinness record.
