NASH AMBASSADOR 1950 AT HOT ROD POWER TOUR 2018

The Hot Rod Power Tour 2018 in its journey through several states of the neighboring North American country. For seven days and the same number of cities as: Bowling Green, KY, Chattanooga, TN, Hoover, AL, Hampton, GA, Darlington, SC, Raleigh, NC and Concord, NC that toured several enthusiasts aboard authentic rolling beauties. In this edition, a very special guest led the tour of this tour, it is the 1950 Ambassador Nash participant of the first edition of La Carrera Panamericana, whose first edition started from Cd. Juárez with final destination in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas.

This Nash Ambassador, had Bill France and Curtis Turner as crew, who throughout the competition managed to overcome the harsh tests from day to day. However, at Nash Ambassador he was unable to return to his home country and after many years was found in the state of Durango, the organizing committee of La Carrera Panamericana chaired by Eduardo León, made an impeccable restoration work to put back in march this rolling legend. Lucky for the family of Bill France, founder of the NASCAR series, this car has returned to the family.

The Nash Ambassador was not only a participant in La Carrera Panamericana, it was also the first Pace Car of NASCAR and with this it marked the beginning of the power of the sports car racing in the United States.

So for 7 days, the Nash Ambassador 1950 toured the Hot Rod Power Tour 2018, showing his legacy to motor racing and playing again the road courses that every weekend receives pilots, cars and fans who love the different divisions of NASCAR.
