Between February 7 and 11, the Retromobile Show that honors classic and old cars, and in which La Carrera Panamericana with Motul, strategic partner, takes place at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris, France. , celebrated the 30th anniversary of the great race in Mexico with the official presentation of the commemorative book. With the presence of Eduard León, honorary president of La Carrera Panamericana, executives of Motul and special guests, the book that brings together a large part of the story from the first edition of the modern era held in 1988 until the 2017 edition that marks the beginning of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary.
Eduardo León presented before the document that narrates in detail the history and anecdotes of the thousands of kilometers that other hundreds of participants have challenged by testing their cars that are undoubtedly part of the history of world sports car racing.
Accompanying this presentation, the Retromobile Room also welcomed participants from La Carrera Panamericana, such as Pierre de Thoisy, a pilot who has won multiple races, Frauke Feess, participant in the 2016 edition, and Andreas Beyer, who has captured with his lens the cars and competitors for more than ten editions.
